Congrats to Leah & Keith! Such a joy filming these 2 friends of mine on Friday. Front row seats to every magical moment throughout the day. From their exit from the Temple as a sealed couple to the Ring Ceremony and Reception at Kiwanisland, hope all of Keith and Leah’s friends and family can relive this special day through moments preserved in this video.
I’ve known Keith and Leah for over 3 years, including the year Leah toured the State of California and the world as Miss California 2012. I don’t do many weddings, but I knew it would be great to be among friends. To film not just guests, but people I knew. And, knowing Leah’s artistic tastes and after seeing her wedding plans, I couldn’t say no.
In producing and editing this wedding video, I opted for an approach that would be the most sentimental to family and friends. The Christina Perri song “A Thousand Years” was the theme song for both the wedding and the first half of the video. So, to the video begins not with the studio version of the song but Leah’s friend Carly Valdes’ live performance of “A Thousand Years” along with Leah’s mother Robin Cecil playing the solos the violin.
